Objective:
To improve maternal health outcomes by educating 500 pregnant women and their families about safe pregnancy practices, antenatal care, and postnatal health, ensuring access to essential medical resources and support systems.
Key Components of the Project:
Health Education and Awareness Campaigns:
- Conduct workshops on pregnancy care, nutrition, and family planning.
- Distribute informational materials in local languages to increase awareness about maternal health.
Access to Healthcare Services:
- Partner with local clinics to provide free or subsidized antenatal check-ups.
- Facilitate access to necessary vaccines, supplements, and medications for pregnant women.
Community Support Groups:
- Establish women-led support groups to provide emotional and practical support during pregnancy and postpartum.
- Train community health workers to provide on-ground assistance to pregnant women.
Emergency Preparedness:
