Objective:
To empower 1,000 women and their families by raising awareness of women’s rights, fostering gender equality, and advocating for inclusive policies through educational programs, community engagement, and policy dialogue.
Key Components of the Project:
Awareness Campaigns:
- Organize workshops to educate women about their constitutional, legal, and social rights in Pakistan.
- Launch awareness drives through radio, television, and social media platforms in local languages.
Legal Support and Guidance:
- Establish help desks to provide free legal advice to women on issues like inheritance, workplace harassment, and domestic violence.
- Collaborate with local lawyers and women’s rights organizations to assist women in navigating legal processes.
Community Dialogues and Advocacy:
- Conduct community dialogues involving women, men, and local leaders to discuss the importance of gender equality.
- Advocate for the inclusion of women’s rights topics in local policy discussions.
Capacity Building:
- Train women as local advocates to spread awareness and offer peer support within their communities.
- Conduct training for community leaders and law enforcement officials to address gender biases and improve support for women’s issues.
Engagement with Policymakers:
- Host roundtable discussions with policymakers to advocate for the implementation of laws protecting women’s rights.
